Pantone
spec work
Pantone is generally known for their ability to make a color out of, well, anything. But in pursuit of more stimulating colors, Pantone Bright White (11-0601 TCX) has become unappreciated and underused, and our lives have only become more chaotic. White is a whisper in a world that only shouts, and we want to champion its gentle return to our oversaturated world by reminding people to give themselves a little more white space.
For this spec project I wore many hats. I came up with the idea, did all design work, stylized the print shoot, retouched all print images, and photoshopped all other executions.

To help remind people to take time to find the white space in their lives we will take over some of the most overly stimulating and congested areas out there like Times Square.
We decided to commission artists in big cities to create unique art installations made purely of white. They can be anything and everything, as long as they invite onlookers to break from their busy routine and create a moment of white space.
The only thing more overwhelming than your to-do list is hailing a cab to get you from A to B. To solve this, we paired Pantone with Uber and turned their original black car service into a white car service. The most hectic thing in NYC just became the most tranquil.
